Over 40pc of traditional medicines contaminated.
Mwanza. Over 40 percent of traditional medicines submitted for registration to the Traditional and Alternative Health Practice Council (TAHPC) were found to be contaminated by bacteria and fungus. The situation has triggered concerns over how the medicines were processed and stored.
